Remember not to use a wire brush or harsh scouring pad, which may damage the filters.

Once the filter appears clean, reinstall the lower filter and reinsert the upper filter assembly to lock it into place. Ensuring the filter is reinstalled correctly and locked into place; otherwise, it may damage the dishwasher.
